⚠️ Notice: Signing Key Rotation Required

Due to a key signing expiry, existing installations of the Tenstorrent repositories may fail to update their package listings. For example, you might see the following error when running sudo apt update:

W: An error occurred during the signature verification. The repository is not updated and the previous index files will be used. GPG error: https://ppa.tenstorrent.com/ubuntu noble InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 3A44817BAF0FE074 

W: Failed to fetch https://ppa.tenstorrent.com/ubuntu/dists/noble/InRelease  The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 3A44817BAF0FE074 

W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

To resolve this error, please rotate the key. On Ubuntu, run this command:

sudo wget -O /etc/apt/keyrings/tt-pkg-key.asc https://ppa.tenstorrent.com/tt-pkg-key.asc

On Fedora/RHEL systems, follow the "Add the repository configuration" step from the instructions below. The error should be resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience; please contact us on Discord or open a support ticket if you have questions.

📦Installation Instructions

Debian / Ubuntu

Add the repository to your sources:

			    echo "deb [signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/tt-pkg-key.asc] https://ppa.tenstorrent.com/ubuntu/ $( cat /etc/os-release | grep "^VERSION_CODENAME=" | sed 's/^VERSION_CODENAME=//' ) main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/tenstorrent.list > /dev/null 
 
			    sudo mkdir -p /etc/apt/keyrings; sudo chmod 755 /etc/apt/keyrings 
 
			    sudo wget -O /etc/apt/keyrings/tt-pkg-key.asc https://ppa.tenstorrent.com/tt-pkg-key.asc

Update your package list:

sudo apt update

Install packages:

sudo apt install package-name

Fedora

Add the repository configuration:

sudo bash -c 'cat > /etc/yum.repos.d/tenstorrent.repo << EOF

[Tenstorrent]

name=Tenstorrent

baseurl=https://ppa.tenstorrent.com/fedora

enabled=1

gpgcheck=1

Install packages:

sudo dnf install package-name

Note: On first package install, dnf will prompt you to import the GPG key. Review the key fingerprint and confirm to proceed.
